How the NAD+ Pen Injector Works
Subcutaneous injection delivers NAD+ directly into the tissue beneath the skin — bypassing the digestive tract entirely for immediate cellular availability without conversion or degradation.
Pen Setup & Site Preparation
Wash your hands thoroughly. Remove the pen cap and wipe the rubber top with an alcohol pad. Screw on a new sterile needle and remove both caps. Turn the dial to your prescribed volume — dial to 25 for 0.25mL, dial to 50 for 0.5mL. Clean your injection site (abdomen, upper thigh, or buttock) with a fresh alcohol pad and allow to dry.
Subcutaneous Injection
Insert the needle subcutaneously at a slight angle into the prepared site. Press the pen button until the dial reaches zero. Hold the needle in place for 5 seconds to ensure complete delivery of the full dose. Remove the needle, recap the pen immediately, and safely discard the needle in a sharps container.

Before You Use Your Pen Injector
Follow these steps every time you inject. Proper technique ensures complete delivery and minimizes site irritation.
Prepare the Pen
Wash your hands thoroughly or put on gloves. Remove the pen cap and wipe the rubber top with a fresh alcohol pad. Allow it to dry for a few seconds before proceeding.
⚠️ Never skip the alcohol wipe — contamination at the rubber top can compromise the entire vial.
Attach a New Sterile Needle
Screw a new sterile needle firmly onto the pen. Remove both the outer and inner needle caps and set them aside — you will need the outer cap to remove the needle safely after injection. Never reuse a needle.
Set Your Dose
Turn the dial to your prescribed volume. Dial to 25 = 0.25mL. Dial to 30 = 0.3mL. Dial to 50 = 0.5mL. Confirm the number in the window before injecting. Do not adjust the dose without direction from your healthcare provider.
Prepare Your Injection Site
Choose your site — abdomen, upper thigh, or buttock. Clean with a fresh alcohol pad using a circular motion and allow to dry completely before injecting. Rotate your injection site every week to avoid buildup of scar tissue.
⚠️ Never inject into the same spot twice in a row. Rotate weekly.
Inject & Hold
Pinch a small fold of skin at the prepared site. Insert the needle subcutaneously at a slight angle. Press the pen button slowly and steadily until the dial returns to zero. Hold the needle in place for 5 full seconds before withdrawing — this ensures the complete dose is delivered.
Dispose & Store
Remove the used needle using the outer cap and dispose of it immediately in a sharps container. Recap the pen after every use. Return the pen to the refrigerator — store upright, away from light and heat. Do not freeze or shake vigorously.
⚠️ Always recap the pen before returning it to storage.
Dosing Schedule Reminder
Start at 0.25mL once weekly. Titrate to 0.5mL weekly or twice weekly as tolerated and as directed by your provider. Consistency in timing and site rotation ensures optimal absorption and effectiveness. Do not exceed your prescribed dose.
